SELANGOR FOUNDATION STUDY LOAN

Applicants are invited to apply for the Selangor Foundation Study Loan to pursue their studies on a FULL TIME basis, in any local Public Institutions of Higher Learning / Private Institutions of Higher Learning recognised by the Government.

ELLIGIBILITY
TERMS REMARKS
BIRTH
  • Citizen of Malaysia
  • Applicant was born in the State of Selangor; or
  • Mother or father was born in the State of Selangor; or in the Federal Territory before February 1, 1974 or has resided in Selangor for more than ten (10) years, verified by the State Assemblyman / Chieftain / Village Security Development Committee / Village Head.
  • Applicant comes from a family with an income per capita (parents’ income over the number of dependents) of less than RM3000.00 a Month.
  • Applicant, his/her mother and father are Malaysian Citizens.
EDUCATION LEVEL
  • Applicant has been offered a place to pursue his/her studies on a FULL TIME basis only.
  • Distant learning / off campus/ A Level / O Level / professional certificates nationwide are NOT ENTITLED TO APPLY.
SPONSORSHIP
  • Only applicants who HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY SCHOLARSHIP from other sponsors or any financial aid from any domestic or International organisations are entitled to apply.
  • Students who have received sponsorships (loan/scholarship) for example PTPTN, JPA, MARA and such ARE NOT ENTITLED TO APPLY.
  • Students who have received loans from any sponsors for Certificate or Diploma courses are not entitled to apply. If the student has received a loan before, a settlement letter must be enclosed with the application form.

STUDY LEVEL OFFER

This offer is open for a FULL TIME Degree / Diploma studies in local Public Institution of Higher Learning / Private Institution of Higher Learning recognised by the Malaysian Government.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Pemohon perlu mengisi borang permohonan pinjaman Yayasan Selangor dengan melayari laman web rasmi Yayasan Selangor apabila iklan tawaran dikeluarkan.

  • Only successful applicants will be called for interview.
  • Only applicants who are successful in the interview will be offered the Selangor Foundation Study Loan.
