APPLICATION METHOD

• Intake is open every year after the announcement of the current UPSR result.

• Fill the Form 1 Intake Application Form (PKA/1) completely

• Send the completed PKA/1 Form to the Selangor Foundation Student Affairs Section by hand, latest by Two Weeks After UPSR Result is Announced:

•Wait for the application result whether Successful / Unsuccessful / Reserved, latest by 1 week before the Form 1 enrolment date.

• Fill-up the Appeal Form if the result is Unsuccesful yet interested to get placement.

**Important Note: Incomplete Application Form will not be processed**

APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

i. Have sat for the current UPSR examination and achieved 6As or at least 2As (out of 6 compulsory subjects) with passes for all subjects.

ii. Attended primary school in Selangor (priority given to rural students) under the Malaysian Ministry of Education.

iii. Either the applicant, his/her mother or father, was born in Selangor or has resided in Selangor for at least 10 years (resident to fill-up Resident Authentication Form).

iv. Applicant comes from a family with income per capita (parents’ income over the number of dependents) of less than RM2000.00 a month.v. Applicant, his/her mother and father are Malaysian nationals.

v. Applicant is certified by a doctor to be physically, mentally and emotionally fit. Applicant is not physically impaired to move or walk such as taking the bus, participating in sports and other such activities.

• Selangor Foundation Main Hostels
• Selangor Foundation District Hostels
• Without Hostel / Shuttle From Home

SELANGOR FOUNDATION MAIN HOSTELS

• The Selangor Foundation Main Hostels are totally under the Selangor Foundation Management.
• Students will be attending selected schools under the Selangor State Education Department (SSED).

There are 2 Main Hostels under the Selangor Foundation Management which are :

Sabak Bernam Selangor Foundation Hostel (SBSFH)
Klang Selangor Foundation Hostel (KSFH)

SCHOOLS FOR STUDENTS IN MAIN HOSTELS
Students will attend one of the schools listed below based on certain criterias set by SSED and the Selangor Foundation :

SELANGOR FOUNDATION DISTRICT HOSTELS

• The Selangor Foundation District Hostels are daily hostels under the Ministry of Education which have been given quotas to place Selangor Foundation students.
• The Selangor Foundation District Hostels are located in the State of Selangor and Federal Territory.
• Distric Hostels in the State of Selangor are controlled by the Selangor State Education Department (SSED) while those in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur are under the control of Kuala Lumpur Federal Territory Education Department (KLFTED).
• These students are subject to the regulations set by the schools and Selangor Foundation.
  DISTRICT HOSTELS IN SELANGOR ARE AS FOLLOWS:

DISTICT HOSTELS IN THE FEDERAL TERRITORY OF KUALA LUMPUR ARE:

1. SMK Victoria (Boys only) – Only 6As in UPSR

WITHOUT HOSTEL / SHUTTLE FROM HOME

• Students will attend selected schools under the Selangor State Education Department (SSED) and the Kuala Lumpur Federal Territory Education Department (KLFTED).
• Students shuttle to school from their respective homes.
• Students will be placed in either one of the schools below:
